Therapy

Support for the season you're in—and the healing you're ready for.

Looking for grounded, real-life support for anxiety, trauma, identity questions, or big life transitions?

My approach to therapy is collaborative and client-centered—focused on helping you understand what you're going through, build emotional resilience, and move toward meaningful change. It’s rooted in traditional talk therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which means we explore the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors—so you can gain insight and develop tools that actually work. I also bring a trauma-informed lens to all of my work, and when it fits your goals, I may incorporate mindfulness, somatic practices, or other holistic tools for deeper support.

Life isn’t linear. Each chapter brings new challenges — anxiety, burnout, big decisions, or emotional pain that’s hard to name. I offer therapy for teens and adults, both in person in Katy, Texas and online throughout the state. Whether you're navigating a transition, unpacking the past, or simply needing space to breathe — I’ll meet you where you are.

Who I Work With & Areas I Specialize In

Dig Deeper Into Each Specialty

Each section below shares more about who I work with, common struggles, and how therapy can help. Choose what speaks to you — or explore them all to get a better feel for how I work.

Teens

Adolescence can be overwhelming—for both teens and the adults who care about them. Between academic pressure, identity exploration, social struggles, and emotional ups and downs, it’s a lot to navigate alone. Therapy gives teens a private space to process what they’re feeling, learn to cope with anxiety or stress, and build confidence in who they are.

I specialize in working with teens who are experiencing anxiety, ADHD, depression, trauma, family conflict, substance use concerns, or struggles related to self-esteem and identity. I also support gifted and high-achieving teens who may appear “fine” on the outside but are quietly overwhelmed inside.

My approach is collaborative, nonjudgmental, and rooted in trust. Teens don’t need to have everything figured out—they just need a space to be real.

College Students

College is often described as “the best years of your life,” but that doesn’t reflect the full picture. Many students feel overwhelmed by pressure to perform, uncertainty about the future, social isolation, having more mature relationshiops, or identity confusion. Therapy can offer a grounding space to work through anxiety, ADHD, perfectionism, self-doubt, or the emotional ups and downs that often come with this life stage.

I work with college students all across Texas through virtual sessions—whether you're living at home, in a dorm room, or studying at a university far from your hometown. I support students navigating transitions like moving away from home, academic burnout, major/career stress, and relationship struggles. Whether you're dealing with panic attacks before exams or feeling lost in the middle of a big life shift, you don’t have to figure it all out on your own.

Together, we’ll work to clarify what you need, build tools that support your growth, and help you feel more like yourself again—on campus or beyond.

Young Adults

Young adulthood can feel like everything is in transition—your identity, relationships, career path, and sense of purpose. It’s a time full of possibility, but also uncertainty, self-doubt, and pressure to “figure it all out.” Therapy can help you slow down, sort through the noise, and reconnect with what actually feels right for you.

I work with young adults navigating anxiety, burnout, breakups, career changes, identity exploration, gender and sexuality, loneliness, and major life decisions. Whether you're stepping into independence for the first time or reevaluating your direction after a big shift, this is a space to explore who you are and what you want—without judgment or pressure.

Together, we’ll build tools to help you manage stress, trust yourself more fully, and move forward with clarity and confidence.

Support for Women & Life Transitions

Being a woman in today’s world often means carrying more than most people can see—mentally, emotionally, physically, and invisibly. Whether you’re navigating perimenopause, motherhood, burnout, grief, or major life change, therapy can be a space to finally exhale, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.

I work with women at many life stages—mothers of teens, caregivers for aging parents, professionals stretched thin, and those feeling the weight of generational expectations. As a mother of teens myself, I understand the emotional complexity of holding so much at once while trying to stay connected to your own identity.

We talk about the real things that often go unspoken—like hormonal shifts, aging, and the quiet pressure many women feel to look or be a certain way. This is a space to reclaim your energy, your voice, and your sense of self—without guilt, pressure, or the need to have it all figured out. You don’t have to hold it all alone.

Veterans & Military-Affiliated Clients

Military life changes you. The structure, the sacrifice, the silence. And when service ends, the transition into civilian life can be just as disorienting.I work with veterans navigating trauma, PTSD, identity shifts, disabilities—both visible and invisible—and the lasting impact of deployment and reintegration. I also support military spouses and partners who often carry their own stress, emotional load, and role fatigue while supporting someone they love.

As the spouse of a veteran who served as a paratrooper, I understand the unspoken weight that military life can place on relationships, routines, and mental health. Whether you're dealing with chronic tension in the body, high-alert nervous system patterns, or long-held emotional suppression, this is a space where you're not expected to push through. For those living with physical disabilities or injuries—including limb loss—I offer adaptive yoga and movement-based support tailored to your body’s needs.

This is a space for all veterans—men, women, BIPOC service members, and anyone who has served in any capacity, whether in combat or in a critical support role.

You don’t have to hold it all together here. You just have to be human.

Trauma & Nervous System Support

Trauma is not one-size-fits-all. Whether you're recovering from a single incident or navigating the deep wounds of complex PTSD (CPTSD), our work together is shaped by your unique experience and paced at your comfort level. I support survivors of emotional, physical, and relational trauma, including childhood abuse, toxic dynamics, and long-term invalidation or neglect.

I integrate cognitive processing techniques, somatic practices, and draw from EMDR-informed approaches (note: I do not offer full EMDR). We’ll explore how trauma lives in the body, how it impacts your ability to feel safe, and how symptoms like hyper-vigilance, hyper-independence, shutdown, or emotional dysregulation may be showing up in your life.

You’ll learn to recognize your body’s survival patterns (fight, flight, freeze, fawn), rebuild trust in yourself and others, and develop tools to reconnect with a sense of groundedness. While practices like breathwork and rest can be supportive, they aren’t a one-size-fits-all solution — and that’s okay. Together, we’ll find what works for your nervous system.

I also hold space for those navigating:

  • Romantic relationship trauma, including narcissistic abuse or controlling partners

  • Religious or spiritual trauma, especially where shame or fear were used as tools of control

  • Sexual trauma, including assaults that were minimized or dismissed

  • Medical and chronic illness trauma, where your body or pain may have been misunderstood, ignored, or mistreated

Healing is possible. Just as trauma can rewire the brain, so can safety, connection, and empowerment.
