While I am a licensed therapist, this coaching space is not therapy.
Coaching does not involve diagnosing or treating mental health conditions, nor is it designed for deep emotional processing or trauma work.
Instead, this space is for individuals who have a general understanding of their challenges and are now ready for structure, guidance, and forward movement.
Coaching is focused on clarity, accountability, and action—built around who you are and the life you want to create.

Do you offer refunds or partial refunds?Because your coaching package reserves not just sessions but time, planning, and messaging access, refunds are not offered once your intake session has occurred. If something unexpected happens before your first session, I encourage you to reach out to discuss options.

What happens if I don’t finish all my sessions in time?Each coaching package comes with a clear usage window—8 weeks for the 5-session package, and 16 weeks for the 10-session package. Any unused sessions that aren’t completed within the designated time will unfortunately be forfeited. This encourages steady engagement and ensures you get the most from your investment.

Can I use Spruce outside of those hours?You can message anytime, but replies will only be sent during Spruce hours unless previously agreed upon. Occasionally, limited flexibility is offered if you and I have made special arrangements. Coaching sessions themselves can be scheduled outside of regular messaging hours on a case-by-case basis.

Can I do coaching if I’m already in therapy?Yes — as long as your therapist is aware and supportive. Coaching can be a great complement to therapy, especially if you're working on routines, accountability, or personal goals. My work in coaching remains focused on forward movement and support— not emotional processing or diagnosis.

Can I upgrade from the 5-session package to the 10-session package later?Yes! If you're finding value and want to go deeper, we can explore transitioning into the 10-session package. I’ll apply your existing sessions as credit and adjust your timeline accordingly.

What if I start with the Intake Session and want to continue?If you purchase a package after completing a standalone Intake & Breakthrough Session, you won’t have to repeat the intake. Instead, the built-in intake session from that package will convert into two additional coaching sessions, giving you more support without repeating steps. This must be confirmed with me at time of purchase.

What is Spruce, and how does it work?Spruce is a HIPAA-compliant secure messaging app I use to communicate with both therapy and coaching clients. Once your coaching package begins, you’ll receive access to Spruce for the duration of your support plan. Messages are monitored Monday through Thursday, 11:00 AM–5:00 PM CST, unless otherwise arranged. It’s designed for short check-ins, clarification questions, or progress updates. Anything that requires deeper processing should be saved for your scheduled session.

What’s the difference between therapy and coaching?Therapy often explores and processes the past—trauma, emotions, and diagnoses—whereas coaching focuses on creating structure, goals, and forward momentum. Coaching is not mental health treatment. While I am a licensed therapist, my role in coaching is different: I’m here to support your growth with clarity, tools, and guidance—not clinical assessment or treatment.

Before your session, you’ll receive a detailed intake questionnaire that may take 30–60 minutes to complete, depending on how thoroughly you fill it out. The more insight you provide, the more I can tailor your session to support you effectively.
Whether you're seeking clarity, testing the coaching fit, or simply want high-level insight in one powerful session—this is a strong place to begin.
After your first session begins, you’ll receive secure messaging access via Spruce, a HIPAA-compliant app for confidential, organized communication. Messages are only monitored and responded to Monday through Thursday, 11:00 AM–5:00 PM CST, unless previously discussed and arranged. Messaging access is available for 2 weeks from the date of your first session, whether you complete the session in one sitting or split it into two parts. This support is intended for questions and clarifications. If deeper issues come up, additional sessions will be needed for dedicated time.

Coaching sessions are generally scheduled during weekday hours, but availability outside of that—including Fridays or weekends—can be arranged on a case-by-case basis through mutual agreement.
